I was appointed Executive Engineer on the

Permanent staff on March 31st. 1904; only one other of the present Executive Engineers was Executive Engineer on the Permanent staff at that date, and thus in seniority I rank

second amongst the Executive Engineers.

Vy diplomas granted by - the Institute of Civil

the Engineers and the Royal Institute of British Architects Association of Municipal and County Engineers and the Sanitary Institute all by Examination are at least equal to those

held by any other Executive Engineer.

My training and experience prior to my service

has been entirely in ocnrection with Municipal and County Engineers and was gained principally under the Bristol City Council and the Middlesex County Council the largest Corporations in Great Britain.

In Bristol I was District Engineer for the Clifton District of the City for 5 years and for the City District of the City for 2 years In Middlesex 1 was Divisonal Engineer for the Eastern half of the County of Middlesex.

These appointments brought me into the olceeat touch with all phases of Public Works as carried out in the important Home Centres and I beg to submit that they einertly qualify me for any probable vacanov.
